How Often Should You Update Your Legal Nurse Consultant Website’s Design?

As a marketing consultant I get asked this question frequently. Over the years and over much discussion, my answer has changed. Years ago, it wasn’t all that easy to change your design without some technical skills and rather expensive software. These days, changing a design is as simple as uploading and selecting the theme with some web providers. Yes, you have heard me say many times how “homemade” this can look if not done well, but alas the option is out there and being used by many Legal Nurse Consultants. As a result, I’ve seen people change web site themes like they change clothes. To me, that is a problem and here’s why.

The other day I was doing some research online and came across a website for a Legal Nurse Consultant (I think), who was using her LNC practice website as an umbrella for what we marketers call “chasing dollars”.

As fate would have it, I have been commenting a lot lately on LinkedIn about the pros and cons of using WordPress platforms to develop your online LNC/LCP presence. Yesterday, I shared a guest blog from Yoast outlining the 11 essential plugins when using WordPress for your website. And then BOOM!! One of the blogs I follow shared some WordPress security plugins. We all know that blog hacking is much easier than website hacking and I think it only fitting to share these essential security plugins as well.
