How it all works
 


The Workshop
There is a day and a half introduction and preparation workshop in Indianapolis, IN. During this session you will create the foundation for the remainder of the year’s marketing. This small group session will include hands on work, not simply lecturing. The groups are kept small intentionally, with no more than 7 members in each group. Since there are a balance of short lessons, discussions and member assignments, it is highly recommended that you bring a laptop to this workshop. (The hotel does have a business center with 3 computers and printers available for use b guests at no charge.) Since this is the beginning foundation of the year, this is an event you cannot miss.

The Group Calls
There are 12 one-hour group conference calls. The calls are a balance of short lessons and group discussion on the topic at hand and each member’s assignments will have been “graded” and changes given to the member prior to  each call. Each group member gets personal attention on each call for direct feedback from Karen and the other group members.

Member Assignments

After the development of your plan, you will submit your marketing materials that you plan to use for analysis and recommendation of changes. This is a great way to keep you on track, have your ideas reviewed by a professional marketer before you send them out and take any recommendations into account and make changes prior to implementing that marketing tactic.

Each group meets every month for a 60-minute conference call (actual date and time to be determined by participants’ schedules). Once a month, you’ll have a “buddy” call with one or more of the other participants to keep each other on track.


This group builds on the foundation of the legal Nurse consulting practice that you already have and assumes you have basic marketing tools in place. If you do not and would still like to attend, you must first speak with the Director to determine if this is the right workshop for you.

Karen Pirtle writes a variety of small business consulting books designed to assist individual consultants, legal nurse consultants and life care planners build and market their practices.
Her writing combines witty humor, detailed information on her shoe addiction and current marketing trends. She presents new tips and techniques married unexpectedly with old tried and true marketing campaigns to create remarkable practices.

Karen is the Director of LNCPracticeBuilder.com and LCPPracticeBuilder.com. Her firm is dedicated to helping LNCs build remarkable practices through marketing and image branding. She has worked with several clients over the years and enjoys turning sketches on napkins into a unique brand-able image for consultants. From print media to web design, LNCPB provides services and resources to new or existing consultants who wish to step up their game.
